![Kyoto’s peaceful moss temple 🌿🍁 Saihō-ji is one of Kyoto’s most unique temples, famous for its 120+ varieties of moss and its tranquil garden 🌱 Before entering the grounds, all visitors take part in a short sutra-copying ritual. This is a quiet, meditative practice meant to calm the mind 🧘♀️ Afterward you’re free to explore the beautiful garden surrounding the Golden Pond, tea houses, and lush moss carpets 🥰 [𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰] – 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱: intosaihoji.com/en/booking/nichinichi – 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻: ¥4,000 per person – 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀: Train to Matsuotaisha Station (20 min walk) or Kyoto Bus 28 → Kokedera/Suzumushidera stop (10 min walk) 📍 Saihō-ji 西芳寺 (苔寺) 56 Matsuojingatanicho, Nishikyō-ku, Kyoto #japantravel #kyototrip #kyototemple #saihoji #西芳寺](/video/cover/7576238776280780053.webp)
