I am stumped: how can you not understand the 3rd law, when it’s so intuitive in real life?

I was with you the first part. Then I fell off.

I realised this a long time ago - in high school. Then I tried to use the forces acting on a vertically projected smooth object, air resistance and gravity, to try and model my hypothesis that "the third law is only temporarily true - at the start, peak and end of that motion". I was so shy I couldn't discuss this with anyone. So I wrote letter to a department of Oxford university. The letter was returned, to my home in Africa, unopened, because no department claimed it. There was no public facing internet then - early 1990s.
So, I think I get what you're thinking. I didn't pursue a career in Physics or Maths, and opted for Medicine instead. So my PhD is in a completely different field.
Unfortunately I can't influence any of my children to pursue anything in university - they just want whatever pays the most money.
Keep up the good work.

It's funny, when pushing boxes I just use common sense and it seems to work just as well as the theory.

so I still don't understand why things move if there is an opposite reaction. u pish the box and the box pushes you. things move BC there is an imbalance of forces or if they are already moving and resultant is 0. so how does anything. start moving

Is the sum of rotational impulse of our solar system more or less constant like it (probably) is for the universe? So spinning of the planets is inevitable?

But if you mean 'most misunderstood law in physics by physics undergraduates' I 100% agree

It’s not the most misunderstood law of physics. It’s basic undergraduate physics.
