The radiographs showed severe multifocal bridging spondylosis from the caudal thoracic spine through the lumbosacral junction. She has mild discomfort with lumbar and cervical spinal palpation, and she has been prescribed carprofen for pain management. Despite everything she is dealing with, Raven continues to be a wonderful, affectionate dog. In playgroup on 10/05, she was social with other dogs, gave greetings, solicited attention, participated in gentle play, and sought attention from handlers. She was described as Dainty & Gentle. 🥹❤️ Raven is also heartworm high positive and has started heartworm therapy with doxycycline. She will need continued medical care and a placement able to provide the long-term care she deserves. ⚠️ Raven is NODAS MED and urgently needs placement by 11AM CST on 10/07.
