i think it’s just your manner of saying things that people might have took as a bit of an insult to Taylor? Mourning what once was and rip her deep songs isn’t really the nicest way to say a song wasn’t to your taste, it makes it seem like you’re saying I miss when she was good or that her meaningful/deep songwriting is effectively dead or gone. That’s different to just simply saying you didn’t like a song. In reality you’ve not ‘lost’ anything and neither has Taylor and there’s nothing to be sad about!

People need to learn the difference between not liking something and being extremely disrespectful/ hating on it. It’s okay if you don’t like all of her songs. You can say that and then go back to the songs you do like, but it’s a huge difference to say they are straight-up “awful” or “the worst songs you’ve ever heard.” People who say they want the old Taylor back or that they need Taylor and Travis to break up to get sad songs are not real fans. Folklore, etc. still exists. If you like those better, listen to them, but don’t bully Taylor or other fans online
