I don’t think carbon dating is as accurate as it’s portrayed to be. I think as long as humans and science are involved that things are made up a lot along the way just to make people feel better

I’m of the opinion that both can coexist, maybe the earth is a couple billion years old, the Bible isn’t a day by day history book, it’s about the events, so who’s to say that the 6 days of creation were really 6 days? Who’s to say how long Adam and Eve were in the garden? I find it best to not try to lock the Bible in a box, but to keep an open mind about things

Where does the bible say the earth is only 6000 years old? Back in the day, we knew that the word “day” had more than one meaning and doesn’t always mean 24 hours. Some times it means the beginning until the end

I understand why that seems confusing. But the Bible never actually says the Earth is 6,000 years old. And consider this: God created Adam as a mature man, not as a newborn baby. Could He have created the Earth mature as well—already functioning exactly as it needed to? Absolutely. We don’t know every detail of how God created it, and I don’t think we need to. Science can study the age of the material world, while my faith rests in who created it: God. 🙏🏼

We invested the calendar after the Bible came out. The timelines aren’t aligned. The flood did happen and it was 12,000 years ago, every civilization across the planet, even ones who were uncontacted until fairly recently, have a flood myth.
