What about a 3D Sonic game with Christian whitehead’s level formula, Sonic colors level design, Sonic unleashed speed effects where the sound muffles and the background scenery starts to blur off, and perhaps there could be levels where they could introduce modern trap music since Sonic tends to blend into new genres of music and what’s cool.

the reason SEGA did not make Sonic Mania 2 is because Evening Star (Sonic Mania developers) were working on their own original game (Penny's Big Breakaway), and besides, why would we want more classic level slop with only 2 original levels rather than a new 2D pixel game with new levels is what we should be asking
