Skyler Gisondo was unbelievable in this. His first scene as a decoy, his final scene/the phone call ... he was incredible.

for me it was the grooming of the decoy by hansen. its like, he's not that far off in his exploitation of young naive people than the predators he tries to capture. sure its not "as evil".. or is it?

The final line Chris gives in the movie is one of the most haunting final lines I've seen in a movie all year. absolutely fucking amazing

I think Robert Pattinson is the most exciting actor working right now.

Violet Violence :
I used to love true crime, then in the middle of hearing about a young girls gruesome murder the creator did an ad for poop pills and asked “how have you been pooping?” And I stopped watching all together

it’s kinda funny how much discourse™️there was around this movie before it came out with people thinking it was going to demonize hansen when i think it sort of takes it easy on him and like yes he’s shown as a weird guy but never on the level of the predators. if anything the people shown in a worse light are the producer lady and the execs

I’ve been seeing such strong opinions about this film and the only major consistent props are to Rob. Looking forward to seeing it

Can A24 fix their distribution I’m sick of always having to wait a month to sometimes a year to watch a film in the cinema

This movie is really highlighting the lack of literacy and people's incapability of nuance 😭😭

So happy you covered this! Yes I agree, with what decoy Dan went through, especially after being assaulted/harassed and I couldn’t help but get the vibe that Chris kinda groomed decoy Dan at the hotel, trying to tell him what he’s doing is right and how great he is, did anyone else see that? Or am I just crazy

The more I think about Primetime, the more I love it. Easily one of the year's best. So brilliant in so many ways.

Sounds like this would make a great double feature with Red Rooms. Can’t wait to see it!

It was electric, couldn’t get enough of it visually. Also love the territory it explores.

i was let down tbh. Everyone was great in it but it felt rushed and the ending being so abrupt annoyed me. Would have been a fantastic 6 episode mini-series
