I work nights and do exactly this, I limit myself to 2-3 drinks just to unwind and relax, then take myself to bed, wake up brand new, I’ve worked nights for 11 years and morning is my night time 👏👏

I loved it. Go to Tesco on way home from work, get red wine and snacks. It became close to every night. A few years later, liver disease. Managed to reverse it just in time. Only drink sensibly now.

I'm 26 now but I was hard drinking from 19 to 23 where I used I'm a functioning alcoholic as an excuse then once I went through withdrawals and having seizures I re evaluated life and lucky enough I have a partner who helped me to admit I have a problem the life I was living wasnt much of a life where I wake up need 3 shots of vodka then as soon as I finish work down vodka or whiskey I feel the disease of alcoholism isn't talked about as much

This is really nice to remember. I got into this habit as well. No DUIs/ No embarrassing stories nothing really to say except that I was drinking 1 or 2 drinks night out of boredom and then it turn to 3. I recently decided to stop. I don't buy alcohol for the house now it's been a month and I'm not sure how far this will go 🤞🏾
