A morning with me on my day off, spent taking care of all the little lives around the cottage. 🌿 My morning started slowly, with cuddles and a little playtime with Lilas before making the bed and heading to the kitchen for a cup of tea. Then came breakfast with Polly and Rosie keeping me company, as they always seem to do. 🐾 After that, I got dressed and went to check on Harry and Ron, our two little foster kittens. They were found in a garden with severe cat flu, so their mornings currently involve plenty of care — breakfast, cleaning, their medication and gently cleaning their eyes. They’re still recovering, but they’re getting a little stronger every day. 🤍 Then it was time to look after Cerise and Clochette: cleaning their shelter, giving them fresh water and taking care of Cerise’s wound. And because there is apparently always another project waiting for me in the countryside, I spent the rest of the morning clearing an entire side of the house that had become completely overgrown. After quite a bit of cutting, pulling and clearing, I finally uncovered a little gate that gives direct access to the garden — an entrance that had been completely hidden for who knows how long.
