Same happened to me. I paid to have it returned to me. I would rather have set it on fire than let them have it for next to nothing. Then deleted the app. Good luck.

Ask for them to send it back & refund the whole amount so you can then re-list it. I do wish Vinted had more protection for sellers! This is not fair at all.

I bought a Yankee candle that the seller posted in a plastic bag! a glass jar. in a plastic bag. Vinted wouldn't refund me because I couldn't provide them with proof that I didn't smash it 🤷🏻♀️why would I buy it to smash?!!

My daughter had this problem too...the buyer sent a photo of a big stain on a jumper they had bought so we just said send it back...and when it arrived there was NO STAIN!!!! And again yesterday, accused of a branded jacket not being from the brand??? Said to send it back but my daughter then loses money with postage....

There’s just no protection for sellers, I had a similar situation where the buyer claimed she never collected the item. Vinted had her back refunded her but I am without an item and the money too 😡😡 talking to the AI bots are useless too!!

I think I do on purpose. I had this done to me twice before with the item being clean because I washed listed. The person rushing me to post it saying that they need it for holiday for Saturday the item arrives on the Friday nothing for 24 hours then they open up a case on the Saturday saying the item was stained. I’m just petty. I’m like send it back because then that way I can relist it when the item came back I could smell it been washed.
