I’m with you on the PJs. I just got back from 3 1/2 weeks. I only brought one pair of PJs. I did however, do laundry that included underwear and PJs and a few other things that needed to be laundered 10 days in or so.

I brought a small spray bottle of vodka and sprayed my clothes at the end of the day. Helps sanitize your clothes.

I did 44 days which is a Carreon and A personal bag. However, one of the hotels that I stayed in, had a wash washer and dryer in the room and I went on two different cruises and I washed my clothes on the cruises.

I don’t pack pajamas because I don’t wear pajamas. It’s much healthier to sleep naked.

Only from the comments am I finding out how many people sleep naked. I can't sleep with out a blanket covering me so my anxiety would not allow for me to sleep completely naked especially in a hotel in a foreign country!

I’m trying my best to pack a carry-on for my trip to Italy next wk. (Hard for me!) I’m older (78!!!) and in good shape but while I do a carry-on size bag, I check my bag. I don’t want to roll the bag thru the airport, up on the security desk AND/OR lift if overhead on the plane. Annoying/hard at my age. And I have the time to wait when I arrive. (Not rushing to the office.) PS I’m debating one set of PJs (can’t I hand wash one if necessary?) AND I would never take up room for a steamer. Don’t all hotels have an iron if necessary?

It’s funny that I stumbled across your video bc I’m going to Greece and Italy for 11 days and my biggest dilemma is whether or not to pack two pairs of pajamas! This is my 4th trip to Europe in 3.5 years and normally we’re at an Airbnb midway through the trip and we wash clothes but this time it’s all hotels and it’s really messed up my usual packing strategy.

I just went on a 20-day trip to Italy and Greece and only pack to carry on and a personal item. we did have to do laundry one time but other than that it was great

Yep. I just returned from 11 days in Peru and took a carry-on and a personal item. I hate checking baggage, and washing machines exist everywhere around the world, people. Just do laundry once or twice during the trip! No need to pack your entire closet.

I bring an empty spray bottle for wrinkles. Fill it up with water when I’m there, a few spritzes of water and a hot shower get rid of most wrinkles. Then I can also use it to refresh my hair

I’ve been planning for like 6 months…. 18 day trip and only taking carry on and personal. The part I’m nervous about it shoes. We will be hiking in snow in Switzerland but also 6 days in Tuscany 4 in Germany.. 4 in Rome…etc what shoes did you take?
