Everybody worrying about their credit score when you can’t afford a house payment or a car payment right now is hilarious

Yo!! It’s B! :
Saying 2 months behind isn’t that bad is the mindset that’s putting people in these situations.

I was paying $900 a month for the last two years for 6 credit cards. I literally just got a personal loan last week and paid all of them. The loan payment is significantly cheaper and better APR than all my credit cards. I feel a sigh of relief now. We are all going through it in this economy.

I have had credit cards for 11 years or so and never once had my limit reduced until recently. They said I wasn’t using it enough. I feel like that’s a recession indicator

I have a friend who works at a loan office. He said more people are 6+months behind on their mortgage than we realize. People are drowning

My mortgage company calls me 2 weeks before my payments are due to "check in" and see if I will have the payment. Mind you I'm not even behind on my mortgage. It's actually kind of annoying

my credit union locked my checking account because I owe a credit card payment. I cant afford food, and now they're locking me from the little money I do make. they will never see a god damned penny now.

Something I’ve noticed is that my credit card payments used to take a couple of days to process. This last month? That money was GONE out of my checking in hours, by the end of the day 😂

I work for a gas station/convenience store, and for the past couple weeks or so I’ve noticed WAY more people’s cards declining. It used to happen maybe once or twice a day, but now it’s at least 10-15 people a day. I feel bad for them, cause same 🫠

I just got a notification on a CC reducing my credit limit. No changes to my income. I’ve had it for 7 years. I use it and pay off the balance every month. I have an 850 credit score. Think they are doing this to reduce people charging it up and not being able to pay it back.

My luxury apartment is now offering payment plans for your rent. If that's not an indicator, I don't know what is. Lol

Girl we were TWO DAYS late on rent because of how the deposit schedule fell that pay period (had never been late before) and we got a notice to evict.

I called all my credit cards. Closed all accounts. Renegotiate a payment I wanted and could afford. No more late fees or interest fees. I told them do this or I will have to do bankruptcy. My credit is unchanged and still in good standing just cant use those cards anymore.

Everyone is defaulting right now. I know 3 people personally that are in a similar situation. The credit companies are hemorrhaging.
