@roxytoxy08: One thing I’m learning in my walk with God is that loving people does not mean giving everyone unlimited access to you. You can love someone and still have boundaries. You can pray for someone and still create distance. You can forgive someone without continuing to participate in the same unhealthy cycle. Not everyone who enters your life is meant to walk with you through every season. Some relationships can distract you, drain you, manipulate you, encourage division, or pull your attention away from the person God is calling you to become. That’s why discernment matters. 🤍 Sometimes we keep helping because we feel guilty about stepping away. We think being a good Christian means always saying yes, always being available, and continually rescuing people. But there is a difference between helping someone and enabling a pattern that never changes. I’m learning to ask God: “Lord, give me wisdom about the people in my life. Show me where I need to love more, where I need stronger boundaries, and where I need to step away. Help me recognize what is drawing me closer to You and what is pulling me away from You.” Protecting your peace doesn’t mean you hate anyone. Setting boundaries doesn’t mean you stopped caring. Sometimes you simply have to love people from a distance while continuing to pray for them. I don't Agree with #5. we don't know what effect we are having on others, if they keep coming to you, don't deny them, doesn't matter if it's always prayer, or venting, or whatever it be, help them. not everything is built in days,weeks or even months. sometimes you will not ever get to see the effect you had on someone, yet your memories will remain in them as a living testimony. I also wouldn't call it worship, yes where to come to God with alot of things, however scripture also states we are too pray for one another, never cease in praying, don't stop doing what is good, help those who are in need of help, do things with long suffering and patients, etc, etc. that's not worship that's biblical commitment.

When I created distance from a person who had very high (impossible) expecations from me, I was compared to ISIS. 😳 I Was also called a ‘sect’ and ‘false’. I felt hurt and guilt-ridden for a VERY long time. Not so much anymore. Wish I saw this post a lot sooner!
