This is the problem! He should be banned from playing college football for a year. No transfer and no portal. If he wants to quit fine. In order to play he must punished for his actions. Heck fine him as well. These young people need to learn they are not dipped in gold

I thought, if you want suspension from another school. If you enter the portal and go to a different school, they still have to honor that suspension, am I wrong?

As an Alabama fan, I truly would think twice before bringing him on board. What he offers, at least for a team culture, and what Alabama stands for, do not match. That said, the portal is closed. He will be sitting out for the season. Trust me when I say, the optics of bringing this guy on a new team matter.

Regardless of where A player decides to transfer any player who is guilty of physical assault or SA should be made to sit out a number of games. You don't get to do something then avoid discipline.

…..and why tf would bama want him after saturdays game? DeBoer isn’t hot headed enough to be able to handle Stewart and that would be a risky decision considering his lack of respect for his own coach let alone other players. Why would someone want to take a chance at their credibility, decision making and reputation for a player that clearly isn’t coachable?

It shouldn’t be a concern because any coaching staff with a bit of sense shouldn’t want that on their team.

Why would Alabama want him after what he did playing against Alabama? I wouldn't want him on my team!!

JA :
Might as week. He needs to play and lots of teams with no integrity will be happy to have him. If he makes enough plays to have a full highlight reel then he is marketable for the NFL. The bar is so low these days.
