@bryce_turner0: One thing I’ve noticed in Italy: walking isn’t treated like exercise, it’s just part of life. 🇮🇹 People walk to cafés, shops, dinner, the beach, through town, and to see friends. That constant low-level movement adds up in a way that a single workout can’t fully replace. In the U.S., so much of daily life is built around sitting. Driving everywhere, desk jobs, delivery, elevators, and convenience. More daily movement is one piece of the puzzle on why italians often live longer than Americans. You don’t need to hit 20,000 steps overnight. Start with a walk after meals, park farther away, take the stairs, or make one short trip on foot. A healthier life often looks less like “working out more” and more like building movement into the way you live! Follow for more Blue Zone Tips 👀🇮🇹
