Leave a 🧺 if you like! 🤭 Admittedly, I might be a little mad about vintage handkerchiefs😅 There is next to nothing I enjoy more than a relaxed day of ironing this almost extinct gentleman’s essential - especially when it’s freezing outside like today 🥶 When I was but a little lad, my granny taught me how to use a hot iron on her kitchen table, sacrificing one of my grandfather’s old cotton hankies in the process. It wasn’t until my university days, however, that I began collecting every blue, green, or brown vintage handkerchief I could find at flea markets and thrift stores - and I’ve never switched back to contemporary tissue paper 🤧 🫧Despite modern sensibilities - washed at a full boil and finished with a hot iron, they are perfectly sanitary, and infinitely kinder to the environment than disposable paper tissues 🌍 They seem to grow rarer each year, but I’m still amazed by every new pattern I manage to get hold of 🥰 #cozy #calm #vintage #Home #asmr
