Glad to hear Emphatic PM 🙏 , I hope he can actually look into the issue of Caregivers in deep not only the pay and work load, Imagine the stress we have to go through Visas the money it costs us to renew plus the uncertainties of Goal post be changed it’s been too long we harbouring this fear in our hearts, we actually don’t have anymore strength 🙏

I had a hell of a time with my dads 1st Carehome I reported them to the social work and the care inspector. They are all nice when your there then your loved ones get treated like shite.

Yes and the low pay doesn't help either. Carers do such a difficult job for the lowest pay

The thing that bothered me the most when my grandma was in care was that she paid £thousands a month, but the staff doing all the work were on barely above minimum wage. Yet the manager would turn up once a month in a brand new Range Rover, and suggest stupid shit like swapping the big tv for a smaller “homely” one when half the residents were partially sighted.
