Something that always wondered me was why neither Jaehaerys I nor Alysanne thought about a betrothal and later marriage between Rhaenys and Viserys I since there wouldn't have been a succession crisis since the only child of the first born and the first son of the second sons lineage would sat on the throne and the dance wouldn't have happened.
