we went to a festa de aniversário de uma associação of a village nearby, it was a lunch thing but then they served a sopa da pedra around 8pm and cut the birthday cake, so came back home around 11 and had to take the dogs out too 😂😂😂

I grew up in Portugal and live in Australia. Prefer the Portuguese lifestyle. This best. 9:30 dinner and novela then the whole family would go for a walk and coffee while us kids had an ice cream. Best childhood.

Ya I'm a early dinner guy. I can't figure it out everyone wants to party eat and drink more coffee at 11pm.

Ugh it’s not good for our bellies. But with a little one with activities and only get home after 7:30 it’s been quite easy to adjust.

We still eat early compared to Portuguese dinner time . But when we get invited to someone’s house for dinner. We be hungry. We eat at 6 but when invited to somebody’s house dinners like 8:30 -9:00 pm

A minha avó servia o jantar sempre às 19.30 para dar tempo de irmos ao cinema ou dar um passeio antes de dormir, na minha casa janto às 20 h e a minha filha diz que é cedo..lol 🤣 Não podemos ir para a cama de barriga cheia..👌🥰 mas ao fim semana o jantar começa mais tarde para se prolongar pela noite😉🤗

as portuguese, depende do jantar e do dia da semana, e das pessoas que convidam para jantar... sometimes an early dinner goes till very late or an late dinner ends early, so it really depends on the people and/or occasion...

When I was younger I used to eat late, but nowadays I prefer to eat earlier, I don't like having dinner late (late I mean 8:30 pm or later).

😂😂 You even have the late late Jantar, called "Ceia" that starts around the hour you mentioned u finished 😂 Usually happens in Christmas, Wedding, etc
