people say slavery has been abolished.But what is a slave? a slave is a human which is forced to work,lack of personal freedom,lack of rights. The modern worker is forced to work to be able to survive,they sell their time to work in a place where they decide absolutely nothing of what they do with this time,workers are unprotected despite having "rights" but how can they have rights if they have not the material conditions to exerce them. So has slavery really been abolished? I say no,the modern slave does no longer belong to an individual,but rather an entire class.

Even in communist society, are you going to feel content doing a job where you sit in front of a screen for 8hours even if you can comfortably achieve food,shelter,medicine etc? Would you not just become a slave to the system which is the pressure from the people towards the greater cause? I'm not saying that there is no interesting and active job but jobs such as mentioned and for example a bus driver who sits majority of their life without a lot of connection and movement will have an unoptimal life.
