As someone who went through parental visits with my foster sons. I’m on the homeowner side. If you miss your visitation, there’s no makeup time and if there is, you can’t make it yourself.

This dad should NOT be at their private home and broke the court rules for the pick up location. This can be dangerous for the family not knowing what he is going to do then he brings cops as well, ridiculous.

If a parent is not at the pick up point at the appointed time, doesn’t give any notification of delay (which would be understandable), then the parent doing the drop off has every right to leave with the child after a certain period of time. For example, your ‘pick up’ time is 4pm at xyz location. If you show up at xyz location at 5pm then chances are your child has gone back with the parent dropping off. I like the fact the ‘video’ parent states the pick-up/drop-off point is a police station, great place to meet as it’s monitored 24/7, great safety net. Video parent was protecting the child from another disappointment.
