It was your wedding, so don't worry about what some aunt might think. The important thing is to be happy and do things your own way. There’s always going to be someone with objections. Back home, the custom is to have a cake, wedding cookies, and a wedding soup that the newlyweds eat together. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 We had three different meal options, an outdoor barbecue, and plenty of beer. I don't care what anyone thinks—it was a great wedding.

Although I think your wedding should be 100% what you want, if you’re not feeding people you need to tell them in advance so they can arrange food options. I like my food and I’d arrange to go for dinner before/after the wedding so I could still celebrate you

Yeah, I wouldn’t have stayed at the wedding either. I’d be mad as hell you’re not gonna feed me. I don’t care about the alcohol whatever one drinking. I’m pretty much useless ready to go to bed, but other people want to have their drink like to have food to absorb a drink you’re just having a party for yourself at this point, you should just done something at home you and your husband and your mom and dad and not invited guest
