@encompassfarming: Neither of us were made to stay in one place for long. Farming provided quite a lot of variety and zero boredom (especially in the beginning 😵‍💫) We didn't expect to be in the cosmetics game/downsize our farm, but here we are! We have pivoted a number of times and will eventually re-focus a bit on regenerative farming when it is appropriate/feasible to do so. We had 2,000 laying hens at one point and provided colorful eggs to 14 local grocery stores and restaurants 😊

as a livestock veterinarian, its very very hard to make a living in ag with no job off the farm, many of clients that inherited many acres or paid off land, which you guys didn't, still have to have jobs off the farm, it is very unlikely you will make a living off regenerative ag without a job on the farm, its a very romantic but unfortunately unrealistic goal
