@kawutv1: HEAVY DOWNPOUR DISPLACES RESIDENTS IN HOHOE ZONGO Residents of the Zongo community in Hohoe have been left counting their losses following a heavy downpour that lasted throughout the night. The persistent rainfall caused severe flooding in parts of the community, displacing residents and leaving homes and properties submerged in floodwater. Several affected residents were reportedly forced to seek refuge in safer areas as the situation became increasingly difficult. With many families left helpless and uncertain about what to do next, residents are appealing to the government, the Hohoe Municipal Assembly, the National Disaster Management Organisation, NADMO, and other relevant authorities to urgently intervene. They are calling for immediate relief support for affected families, as well as measures to address the recurring flooding situation and prevent similar incidents in the future.
