@elaina.baliner: bruxism is downstream of a dysregulated nervous system. here’s how & what you can do about it Sources: Kato et al. 2001 (cortical arousal before jaw muscle onset in sleep bruxism) PMID 11706956 Huynh et al. 2006 (sympathovagal shift preceding sleep bruxism episodes) PMID 16911037 Alona et al. 2025 (awake bruxism frequency during wartime vs peacetime) DOI 10.1111/joor.14022 Ferreira et al. 2024 (taVNS reduced resting masseter activation, sham-controlled) PMID 39051059 #nervoussystemregulation #somatichealing #bruxism #jawpain #NuropodPartner

Any thoughts on why someone would develop an intense shake while doing isometric holds? Lifted weights for years and it was never a thing. Still very strong with 0 weakness but the shake is there.

Thank you for all the great information you share! [Rotes Herz] Its exactly what I’m struggling with since my c section. It started with panic attacks and headaches (maybe a migraine) which affected the whole trigeminal nerve. Never had jaw issues before and now it’s daily with neck and head pressure on the right side. I struggle with daily dizziness ever since as well but all my tests were clear (MRI, CT, nerve testing etc), so I think it’s a neuro circuit dizziness disorder called PPPD. I don’t know if you’re familiar with it but I would so appreciate if you could do a video on how nervous system dysfunction can cause chronic dizziness since it must be all connected.

Wondering if doing the arm rubs or the nueropod is enough to relax tmj or if stretching exercises are needed as well. Also, curious about chronically lifting and tightness in shoulders/ upper back if this would also help clenching and tension there.
