I was injured in an accident at work and my work is saying its not an accident at work. They didnt report it to RIDDOR even though I was off work for 8 weeks and they refused to help me with any physio. Made me come back to work as they wouldnt give me any more "Sick leave/ Sick pay" nearly 6 months later I still cant walk or work right and my physio believes I need surgery and time off again. What do I do ? I was in a lift drop accident and when the emergency breaks kicked in, I got whiplash, spinal and nerve damage and a very bad ankle injury. My work is saying it wasnt an accident at work because I wasnt actively working at the time of the accident. Im an electrician and was working on a site. Signed in. Clocked in. Wearing my uniform and drove to site in my van. I was only going down in the lift because I needed materials from my van, but they are saying it was "Access and Egress" not work. Are they right ? The site, the building and the council wouldnt let me do an accident at work form either

in the haulage industry what they do is make up the rules just for them and then when you are not happy you get to walk the plank.

I used to work 10 hours every day and only get paid for 8 hours. The owner said that’s what I’m contracted to that’s what I get paid for

It’s written into my contract that I’m paid 7.5 hours per day of holiday when I average 12 hour days , would I be entitled to back pay ?

I work 4 days on / 4 off (12 hour shifts) we do regular overtime to cover our back to backs holidays (24 days a year). Instead of holiday pay, we receive an 8.33% uplift on top of overtime worked. I don't think that's right, but I also don't know how to work it out.

I challenged my previous employer on this situation, they have since changed their policy in April and now pay holiday overtime but they are refusing to backdate underpayments. Currently have a case logged with Acas and waiting for them to get in touch .

I work In sales and have a basic salary but most of my earnings come from commission and bonuses every month, should this be included in holiday pay as I only get paid my base salary for my annual leave?
