Bachain Bahut Phirta - Ghulam Ali @Wajid Iqbal Prisoners (2013) Jake gyllenhaal Hugh Jackman Directed by Denis Villeneuve, Prisoners (2013) is a dark psychological thriller starring Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal that explores grief, obsession, and moral boundaries. The Inciting Incident During a Thanksgiving gathering in a quiet Pennsylvania suburb, six-year-old Anna Dover and her friend Joy Birch go missing. The primary lead is an RV that was parked nearby. Lead investigator Detective Loki (Jake Gyllenhaal) quickly tracks down the vehicle and arrests its driver, Alex Jones (Paul Dano). However, Alex has the IQ of a 10-year-old, and due to a lack of physical evidence, the police are forced to release him after 48 hours. The Vigilante Trail Convinced of Alex’s guilt after hearing him whisper a cryptic comment outside the police station, Anna’s father, Keller Dover (Hugh Jackman), takes matters into his own hands. Driven by desperation, Keller kidnaps Alex, holds him captive in an abandoned building, and brutally tortures him to force a confession. Meanwhile, Joy's father, Franklin Birch (Terrence Howard), reluctantly goes along with the torture, though both families are torn apart by the moral strain. The Investigation Detective Loki follows a web of disturbing leads: A local priest who murdered a man in self-defense; the dead man boasted about "waging a war against God" by kidnapping children. A suspect named Bob Taylor, who draws complex mazes, steals children's clothing, and buries blood-filled boxes, though he turns out to be a traumatized former abduction victim himself. Alex’s aunt, Holly Jones (Melissa Leo), who lives alone and claims Alex was traumatized after his parents disappeared. The Twist & Resolution Joy escapes from her captors and mutters to Keller that "you were there," leading Keller to realize the girls were being held at Holly Jones's home. Holly and her late husband were devout Christians who lost their son to cancer and, in their grief, decided to "war against God" by kidnapping children, using mazes and python venom to break their faith. Alex Jones was actually their very first kidnapping victim. When Keller goes to confront Holly, she shoots him in the leg at gunpoint and traps him beneath a hidden underground pit on her property. Loki subsequently arrives at Holly's house, kills her in a tense standoff, and rescues Anna. The Ending With Anna and Joy safe, the case appears closed. In the final scene, Detective Loki stands outside Holly’s property late at night as crime scene investigators wrap up. Just as he turns to leave, he hears a faint, muffled whistle—Keller using his daughter's emergency whistle from deep inside the underground pit. Loki stops to listen as the film abruptly cuts to black. #prisoners #jakegyllenhaal #fyp #ghulamali #viral
