Transfer and registration costs only become your responsibility if the bond approval is not cost-inclusive. If the bank grants you a bond that includes these costs, then they are financed as part of the home loan rather than paid upfront by you. For first-time buyers, some banks may allow the bond amount to cover not only the purchase price but also eligible transfer and registration-related costs, subject to the bank’s credit assessment and the property valuation. Therefore, you should first establish whether your final bond approval is cost-inclusive before assuming you need cash for these costs. - Something you could include that is important.
