@drcarlaperna: Live from ASTRO 2026 in Boston 🇺🇸 I caught up with my friend and colleague @drpeterdickinson, who treats lung cancer in Leeds and delivers stereotactic radiotherapy. One talk from the day before really stayed with Dr Dickinson. It looked at whether radiotherapy to the brain can be left out for some people with small cell lung cancer. Fewer side effects and a better quality of life are worth aiming for. It only works when the evidence backs it up, and that is why meetings like ASTRO are so valuable.
