@nicolehanaburgh1: The way our rooster stays close to her just gets me. Roosters do more than crow…. they can watch for danger, sound the alarm, and call the hens over when they find food. I’ve even seen him find a treat and feed her. And while hens don’t need a rooster to lay eggs, I love getting to watch the little relationships in our flock. Especially these two. 😂 Do your chickens have a pair that’s always together?
