@betterbakesbygrace: this is better than an apple cider donut.🍎 AND I WILL STAND BY THAT CLAIM. as someone who hates frying, i wanted to create a loaf that gives you all the best parts of an apple cider donut with zero fry oil disasters. and we ended up with a loaf that is EVEN BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL. this loaf is so soft, pillowy, melt in your mouth AND it actually tastes like apple cider (not just cinnamon sugar!!) please PLEASE go try this out & send it to the apple cider donut lovers in your life🫶🏼 RECIPE (below & in my more detail on my substack - link in bio!) 240g all-purpose flour (2 cups)
6g baking powder (1½ tsp)
2g baking soda (½ tsp)
3g salt (½ tsp)
4g cinnamon (1½ tsp)
0.5g nutmeg (¼ tsp)
113g melted butter, cooled (½ cup)
100g light brown sugar (½ cup packed)
55g granulated sugar (¼ cup + 1 tbsp)
100g eggs (2 large)
8g vanilla extract (2 tsp)
360g apple cider reduced to 120g (½ cup)
120g unsweetened applesauce (½ cup)
60g Greek yogurt (¼ cup)
2g lemon zest (1 tsp) Bake in a 9x5 loaf pan at 350F for 45 minutes. Cool and brush with apple cider reduction, coat in cinnamon sugar and EAT! happy baking my babies! i hope you love it.🤭 #appleciderdonuts #appleciderloaf #baker #fallbaking #Recipe
