We're loss averse because we're poor. I continue to invest on a regular, ongoing basis, but I also realize that the game is rigged against me. The lesser risk is to continue to invest but I have no illusions of "winning". I'm just trying to not end up homeless. Trying to predict the future is a risky game. Consistency > gambling

I have a pot that is invest on a regular schedule like clockwork. One pot that I pull from to add a little more when we have a bit more prolonged down run, and then I always keep a pot in a high yield ready for one of those events like Covid to really throw some extra in and get those averages down.
