& thats how you transition into being the token joke character (if one dosent already exist). Just embrace it bud lol. I have a buddy ive gamed with for decades. He can't roll for shit, in any system. It has become a running gag that his characters are either cursed, unlucky, or have the bbeg specifically targeting him for petty reasons. He also gets the most personalized/custome loot, so it kind of balances out. I mean he can't use them well so even the gifts become accidental traps.
