@cinema.lexicon1: Far The summer I turned pretty Plot:- Based on the beloved novel by Jenny Han, the story follows Isabel "Belly" Conklin, who spends every summer at Cousins Beach with her mother, her brother, and her mother's best friend's sons, Conrad and Jeremiah Fisher. For years, Belly has been the "little sister" figure, but the summer she turns sixteen, everything changes. As she blossoms, she finds herself caught in a poignant and complicated love triangle between the two brothers-the moody, eldest Conrad and the playful, reliable Jeremiah-all while the families navigate hidden heartbreaks and the bittersweet end of childhood innocence. Casting: [Lola Tung, Christopher Briney, Gavin Casalegno, Jackie Chung, Rachel Blanchard, Sean Kaufman, Rain Spencer] Crew: Creators/Showrunners: Jenny Han, Sasha Schechter Writers: Jenny Han, Gabrielle Stanton, Becca Gleason Executive Producers: Jenny Han, Hope Hartman, Mads Hansen, Karen Rosentelt Cinematography: J.B. Smith, Shana Hagan Music: Zachary Dawes (Score), featuring heavy curation of artists like Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo Trivia: The series is credited with sparking a massive resurgence of the "Team Conrad vs. Team Jeremiah" debate, reminiscent of the Twilight era's Team Edward Vs. Team Jacob. Author Jenny Han is heavily involved in the production, ensuring that iconic book details-like the infinity necklace and the Junior Deb ball-remained central to the adaptation. The show became a cultural phenomenon for its soundtrack; Taylor Swift even debuted "This Love (Taylor's Version) " and "Back to December (Taylor's Version)" exclusively through the show's trailers and episodes. #tsitp #thesummeriturnedpretty #belly #conrad [belly, Conrad, bonrad, edits, the summer i turned pretty]
