Bicycles should stay in parks and neighborhood streets, not along busy thoroughfares where they become a danger to themselves and to motorists. The newly “enhanced” bicycle lanes along Chandler Boulevard have made that road perilous for everyone. And why are we spending dwindling tax revenues on expensive bicycle lanes, which are used by only a very small percentage of the populace?

In 2013 I got clipped by someone there and ended up in the ditch. He ended crashing into a parking lot

This is a great highlight into the tenure of Karen Bass as mayor and other roles such as on Metro board of directors. Too many times now there was something locals wanted improved, but an even smaller group didn't want it, and Karen Bass placates to the smaller group. Cemeteries, people who think underground trains shake their homes, people who live by a freight train route opposing a close by Metro route over the rest of people who do want it, etc

I watched a bicylist flip his bike on a pot hole, stopped to provide first aid and when the paramedics showed up they were definitely accusatory towards me, made me not want to stop to help ever again

that road is horrible a few years ago was filled with rvs and homeless my mom is buried there but refuse to go for the inconvenience
