we kinda find that it was stuck in there as the story goes by..in the end of the day dont forget the story revolves around harry..and his best habilty is believing that people he likes.. habilities..etc..hes better than even believing on himself.. neville only needed a confidence push

I would love a scene where he gets his own wand. this would also be a nice callback, so we remember the moment harry got his wand and would be a nice reminder of how powerful wands are.

Yes I sincerely hope the tv series shows Neville true development. The forth and fifth books in particular developed him so much and it is cut from the films

Neville is by far the hardest working of them all. While Harry is obviously naturally good at DADA and enhances his skills but Neville's skills almost seem to come out of nowhere.
