in a jewelry store in Woodbury Long Island, a woman came in and said that she had just purchased this chain and it broke and it needed to be repaired. a receipt was requested and she said I didn't buy it here. she couldn't understand why the jeweler wouldn't repair it at no charge even though she hadn't bought it at his store.

I once saw an affluent woman speak down on a salesperson (I was at a distance and they didn't see me watching). When the salesperson finally was able to step away I waited a couple of minutes then walked up to the rich lady and I said, "excuse me do you work here? I'm looking for XXX. Can you help me?" I'm telling you that rich lady was mortified I took her for a worker LMAO 🤣
