I was in a deep, deep depression for several weeks. I was losing weight because I wasn't eating. When I finally told him I was finished with the marriage, he told me he thought this was coming. He had noticed I wasn't eating and that I was so deeply depressed - and still, he chose to do nothing. Which told me that leaving was absolutely the correct decision.

It's painful to realize that they didn't care because that's what it is, they just don't care. But once you see it for what it is, you can't ignore it and things start to change for you regardless if he makes any changes. It gets easier and easier and heal more and more. It's so much more peaceful being single and never begging a man for the bare minimum.

I didn't talk to him for 3 weeks. I always started the conversations, and did all of the emotional labor... It was about 2 weeks in but I could tell he was kind of in the mood for sex, but he legitimately didn't know how to approach it, he had no way in anymore. and when finally talked to him again, I told him it was time for him to move.
