First off, thank you so much for covering Ryans case. You have no idea how much awareness means🤍. I do want to clear up a few things from this video. Ryan was on project life saver. The issue was that when he went to school, they kept giving him scissors and he would cut it off and throw it away. After multiple times the police recommended not putting it back on due to him being able to remove it so easily. Another things was Ryan did not search up the video. He had mentioned watching a YouTube video to me and my grandma a week before he went missing. He would watch YouTube on his tv but it was on a que and would play the next recommended video. It wasn’t something he searched up but was something he watched. Lastly, I was not living at home when Ryan went missing.

I live in Omaha and this case still baffles me and is sooo sad! I know the sister still posts about him and I believe the mom did or tried to sue the school district. 😞

I live in Nebraska. This story had everyone looking in their sheds and any outbuildings. I have a disabled daughter and my heart broke for his family when he wasn't found.

I'm not mad I'm just perturbed :
we lived in a close by apartment. About 2 days after his disappearance our neighbor's garage was broken into. A back panel was kicked out. Almost 5 police cars were on the scene the next morning, they thought he had done it to take shelter for the night

His poster is still up on the street lights in my neighborhood 🥺 Elopement is scary. I still wonder what happened to this baby. It’s impossible to keep them in your sight at all times. It’s just strange that he was never found.

as a SPed teacher....WHY wasn't there a safety plan in his IEP if he had a history of eloping? that doesn't make sense considering that parents/guardians must sign off on their children's IEP. why was he researching how to hide from the police/hide underground and WHY was he running away? his mom was aware enough about his elopement history but yet she wouldn't make him wear it all the time because he kept "cutting it off?" idk something smells fishy here...
