I agree to an extent… not a big fan of wild animals in captivity but domesticated animals do live longer. Zoos have actually saved many species from extinction.

I agree, but also most zoos are rehabilitation centers & like rescue places, and they get animals from endangered areas or from cruelty tourist spots, and basically rehabilitate them and give them the most awesome life in the zoo.

philadelphia zoo is the first zoo - sooo they where they supposed to be, a lot of those animals were rehabilitated and releasing them back puts them into more danger…
