This is starting to feel like a botched investigation. They didn’t check him for gunshot residue. It sounds like they did not triangulate any of her movements that night. Via a previously arranged, off-line discussion, she could’ve swung by the house and picked up the gun and disposed of it all without any Apple Watch or cell phone with her to track movement. Now, with her having shown all the same motivations for getting rid of the victim, there are two suspects. It seems that if the defense gets him acquitted by convincing the jury of doubt that it could’ve been her, it seems like both could end up being off the hook.
