this valko situation really made me open my eyes to how badly managed the company is. LADS became too big too fast for them and it shows. cos there's no way in any universe that a company will cancel a fully planned and fleshed out character within the month he was announced. it's god awful decision making.

This was my comfort game for two years. I wish I appreciated it more. It isn't the fandom that's the core issue, it's the company's abrupt decision and a lack of transparency with their player-base that provoked so many players to grow a deep-rooted hatred against this company. And I don't blame them.

Hi! As a fan of Caleb (though perhaps I should call myself a "harem girlie," since I also adore Valko, Sylus, and Zayne) I deleted the game the moment they announced Valko’s cancellation. A few weeks later, my Twitter account was suspended. Because I had considered the game a "safe space," I decided to download it again (there were still girls holding out hope for the company and for Valko’s return). I tried to keep the faith, but it’s honestly repulsive that some people can still enjoy the game as if all that hatred (to real life people on social media) never happened. Then I learned about the instances of harassment and doxing; I deleted the game for good, and now I prefer to focus on Valko here on TikTok. Still, I can’t help but wonder: WHO are the people who keep spending money on this game, and WHAT exactly are they supporting? Are they truly unaware of ALL the atrocities committed by the ANTIS or are they choosing to look the other way? Of course, they’re free to keep playing if they find comfort in it, but if they want Valko back... well, they should probably be a bit more aware of the situation and stop posting videos of the game (that’s just free advertising for the company, and we shouldn’t be promoting them. At least that's what I think). Just a quick point: I think we all knew how divided the community was even before the whole Valko situation, but we chose to turn a blind eye. Myself included. I always knew there were girls who hated Caleb, but I decided to be the mature one and just ignore them. Unfortunately, this was bound to happen sooner or later. And honestly, unless the company issues a public apology, I will never play the game again, nor will I ever speak well of them again.

I really want to enjoy it again, but the things Infold did to us… Valko’s cancellation was a mess, ok, but after that? Everything we’ve been through… I deleted the game out of anger when “Coming Soon” was gone. Then Caleb’s main story update came. I was boycotting. And I said, let’s give it a chance. I enjoyed the main story and lore before. I had downloaded it again and started reading. But as soon as I saw Valko’s reference, it was over for me. I quit. I couldn’t stop myself from wondering how Valko’s cancellation affected Caleb’s story, and if they changed anything because of it… I got overwhelmed and deleted it again. Even if Valko comes back, the damage they did to the fandom is too big. The trust is gone, and it is the hardest thing to gain. And Valko’s return isn’t the only issue in the game. There are so many things we haven’t heard about. I don’t think people will trust them easily again.

lads fandom is hell I'm out of it until valko is back bc I refuse to engage with or give money to a game that disrespects and disregards such a large portion of the fanbase. I believe he will be back bc theyre just not making the money they used to and were definitely expecting to bc they just expanded and started developing two different triple a games and lads is their moneymaker, but even once val is back I know I'll never love it or spend like I used to

I cant stand the feeling of being disrespected. It really changed the way I view the game. I cant bring myself to play the game but I cant bring myself to delete either even though Ive all but quit. I get these types of tiktoks every once in a while now but on other platforms Ive pretty much blocked any mention of it. It's sad, I really enjoyed the good times while they lasted.

There’s no need to engage with them. Enjoy the game however you want, and do whatever feels right for you. At the end of the day, it’s your experience and your feelings that matter. The fandom only has as much power over you as you give them — so muting them sometimes can be a good thing! In any case, I hope you find it somewhere in you to cheer up despite all the negativity! *Sends hugs*

Yeah valko’s cancellation completely killed my interest in the game. i tried going back to playing, but it felt empty and painful knowing valko was supposed to be there. so i deleted the game. i came back recently just to fill out the survey and ask for valko’s return but now the app is deleted again lol

I don't know if anyone has commented on this, but, for me, it was extra hurtful the fact that I had this very hopeful ideal of "the otome game that is a safe space for women!" because back then you actually could see the team caring about their players and story, idk, when I started playing (before the event of touring in love🎡) every detail felt so, so, soo special, I remember reading the earlier events and it seriously was so full of love... It really hurts me how everything came to this hateful mess.

I wish we could get the 2024 vibes back so bad. I love Sylus but he was the beginning of the end. Then 2025 hit and LADS never recovered. 😔

I never really interacted with the fandom outside of artists and skit editors before Valko was taken away. I was able to have a positive connection with L&Ds and would support anyone’s love with their LI. I still want Infold to support their devs, writers, and artists that brought L&Ds to life how it was originally planned. I wish that wasn’t taken away bc it ultimately gutted what it was meant to be. I just feel ill and negative about it overall. I hate the infighting, the silence from ppg, and the entitlement of people who want to dictate how this game should only cater to their needs. There’s always going to be something to complain about, but the core of the game needs to be supported by the company. Majority of players did not quit the game when Sylus was added, nor Caleb, even after many complaints otherwise so why is Valko different? Infold/ppg used to have a backbone to support their own team. I’m upset and I’m sad some players chose to ignore it.

I love the game, dearly. I know the devs are working hard every time to give us a good experience. I love my glub glub diva and my sleepy shooting star 💙 But I felt so disrespected when Valko got cancelled. He looked promising, a breath of fresh air, totally my type... but my enjoyment was ruined by a bunch of adult children who can't fathom the idea that not everything has to fit their standards. The pure hatred and harrassment Valko girlies went through these past few months are something I'll never forgive nor forget. I'll keep fighting for his return 🐺💙 #BringValkoBack
