If someone can’t give a friend or family member at least $350 as a gift for the wedding then they shouldn’t attend. Weddings are expensive and the money is to help the newlyweds start a new life. Not in debt due to a weeding

This generation is wild. My wedding cost us about $25,000. We didn't ask anyone for money. Plus, My mom bought my cake and my SIL bought all the wine. EVERYTHING else we paid for ourselves. We saved up for 2 year's to make our day amazing.

This is very normal in Asian culture. You went to a wedding and u’re supposed to give money as a blessing to the married couple. We don’t give out cribs, diapers, chairs, etc… or all the weird things like Americans do.
