As a single mom, myself, one of my staff who is 19 and extremely wise beyond her years, and my personal opinion shared something with me that I don't think she touched me, which I will share with her when I see her again, but I wanted to share with you. She told me "My dad raised me my siblings and it made me happy to see my dad going out, I wanted to see my dad happy to find his person, but he never did and it made me feel guilty because he always put me first." it made me realize that even though I may not be the father, I'm her mother. She may have that same feeling that she wants me to be happy.
