its so fictional to the point where its ridiculous im sorry. when i first found out they were making a series of lizzie borden my first thought was “how are they gonna fill the run time??” bc thats how little we know of her and the case. most of what we hear from the case are just theories and the show took so much advantage from that. it gets to a point

I rlly need to look more into the case because this show made me really feel for her and understand that anger pent up after being so mistreated that by the time she committed the murder I wasn’t even mad or put off by it I completely understood and was happy she ended up free at the end

the show is 90% fictional, a lot of ppl dont acknowledge that. i highly recommend deep diving into the cases before relying on the Monster(s) plot. the show is honestly really good but not accurate at all with the plot.

I prefer this to the other “monsters” titles purely because it’s from the 1800s so if anything is wrongly depicted it won’t actively harm people who are still alive. I also like it because it’s the only case that makes sense to fictionalize because we don’t know all the details.
