The first slide is wrong. The addresses in manhattan for the streets start at 5th ave get higher as you go towards the water. thats why you can have a 24 e 35st and a 24 w 35st. Also if you are ever lost (for like 98 percent of the number streets) the direction of traffic on the even streets is east.

tip from someone who has been 4 times, if you’re ever confused about the subway system or where to go, DO NOT BE AFRAID TO ASK!! most locals are happy to direct you, and there are typically police at most station platforms!

I took the ferry and went to the statue. I honestly think the views at the statue were worth it and the hot dogs were really good there too lol

Born and bread New Yorker here. Anyone knocking the $1.50 a slice just isn’t from New York and doesn’t know a good slice. Long time pizzerias sell amazing pizza for cheap. Anything more your paying for the experience.

Got emotional when I saw the Staten Island ferry slide because it reminded me when me and my friends used to ride it back and forth for hours in the 2000’s 😭❤️
