14 years. We went 8 months without speaking bc I went back to the man who abused me and she said she couldn’t watch me die. 8 months later when I was free, I stood at her front door for about 30 minutes working up the courage to go in and she was walking out and she stared at me and hugged me. We don’t hug. But she hugged me and cried and said “I knew it was you. I could feel you through the door” and I’ve never looked back. She’s the love of my life (platonic) but I’ll always choose her.

i did this and she told me i was creepy for showing up to talk to her. my best friend that i spent all of my freetime either with or talking to, thought it was creepy i cared after a fight. i think it permanently damaged me because i havent had a close friend like that since and it’s been about 15 years.

i wish my bestie would come back.. I had to leave her as she kept going back to her abusive cheater man and i couldn't take it anymore. I was also being diagnosed with a brain condition at that time and thought i have to look for myself and my sanity.. I wish she came back but saw she even married him now.
