You didn't give context on the post mentioned. Its about WW3. If you have WW3 wouldn't you rather have space weapons? TBH neither you nor me knows what kinds of weapons the US has up there. But China and Russia are worried enough to immediately ask for a treaty. As far as Oil goes we are the #1 producer of Oil in the world. We do have a hard time refining certain types of Oil but its better to have Oil than to be like Europe. If WW3 starts Europe is the worst place to be. They have no Oil.
