@latyanicole: One of the biggest things the Lord has been showing me through Ezekiel is the danger of idolization. 🤍 And no, idols don’t always look like statues or obvious “gods.” Sometimes they can look like relationships, dreams, success, comfort, control, validation, or even things that aren’t inherently bad, but have slowly taken a place in our hearts that belongs to God. I share a little of my own testimony in this Bible study because I’ve had to recognize some of these things in my own heart, too. And one thing I’ve realized is that when we hold onto an idol, it can become a blocker in our relationship with God. It can create distance, distract us from His voice, and keep us from fully surrendering to Him. So I want to encourage you to take some time with the Lord and simply ask: “Lord, is there anything in my heart that I’ve placed above You? Bring it to the forefront of my mind. Show me what I need to surrender, give me the wisdom to recognize it, and help me remove whatever is blocking me from drawing closer to You.” Don’t be afraid of what He reveals. 🤍 His conviction is an invitation back to Him, not condemnation. #biblestudytime #christianencouragement #christianlifestyle #surrendertogod #christiantiktok
