thank you for calling it "arab conquest" instead of the made up incorrect term "arab colonialism". that term is just thrown around without much thought about what colonization is and the complex system of interconnected history and nuance that lead to the arabization of north africa that wasn't simply just "arab bad, arab force arabic on non arab people" which as you can see flattens a whole complex topic to something that it's not.

it’s hard for people to grasp because they only see political borders which don’t match tribal ethno reality that can be applied to somewhere like europe where nations are a people group. Imagine europe with the borders shifted 600km right but the people stay where they are.

it's kind of interesting how similar coastal Tanzanians are to northern Mozambiquen historically culturally but because they were colonized by different Europeans they are very cut off from one another compared to the relationship between Tanzania and Kenya
